Menno Public School will host the Veterans Day on Friday, November 11, 2017.  The program will begin with the presentation of colors by the Rames-Bender Post 152.  Special music will be provided by the Menno Music Department.  Students who competed in the Patriotic Pen and the Voice of Democracy contests will be present to deliver their essays and speeches.  The fourth grade class will also present a portion of the program.

The event will conclude with refreshments served by the NHS members to honor the veterans in attendance.   Everyone is encouraged to attend.

Menno NHS Angel Tree

This year the Menno NHS Angel Tree will again be having a toy drive for South Dakota Make-A-Wish.  You won't have to wrap the gifts that you bring to put under the angel tree, but we would like you to take a tag from the tree and leave a message for the recipient with your wishes for them for Christmas.

The Make-A-Wish people have provided us with a list of toys and other items that they feel are good gifts for wish kids between the ages of 2 ½ and 18 years of age.  All items donated must be new.  All items must be under the tree by December 21st in order to be delivered in time for Christmas.
